TED Challenge

1) TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It is designed to help spark conversations aout different aspects of society.

2) The purpose of the website is to show the talks that have happened at past conferences. The categorizing of the videos helps the to see the most inciting.

3) Science and global issues are most interesting to me because I'm interested in science related part of the world, and how that can intertwine with problems in other areas of it.

4) The 3 videos below are the most interesting to me. It gives problems of society that are worth looking at.

5) The first video below is the video I chose, and the description outlines the key points.

6) You could have a background in psychology or philosophy, and with specifics of the first video business, to get into that field.

Part II

The second video was the video our group chose.

This video was about learning the philosophy of business and the ingenuity that this speaker saw while in a federal prison. He urges the public to help put those people who would be labeled for life make a difference in society. Key issues included how inmates can be integrated back into a life that helps out others.
This was the video that our group chose. It talks about how superconductors can benefit a society. It gives an interesting view of a quantum level of mechanics and its possible benefits.
I found this video and thought it to be one of my favorites. The speaker had a nice way of presenting and acting his speech to get his point across. Some of the morals and ethics he touched on I think should be represented in society a lot more than the systematic way of thinking and going about in the world that we have been molding into.
